Hey everyone, today I’m reviewing Himalaya Purifying Neem Facewash for you guys.
So, without spending much time, let’s get started.
This purifying Neem Face Wash ( prevents pimple ) comes from the Brand Himalaya Herbals. It’s for all skin types.
It’s 50 ml product size, comes in a plastic tube kind of packaging. The biggest size comes in hard plastic bottle with a pump dispenser.
BTW, it’s 50 ml costed me Rs.65 only.
And the self life is 3 years from the date of manufacturing.
What Company Claims :
A soap-free, herbal formulation that gently removes impurities and prevents pimples. Neem, well-known for its antibacterial properties, kills problem-causing bacteria, and turmeric effectively controls acne and pimples. Use regularly for clear, soft and pimple-free skin.
Directions for uses :
Moisten face and neck, apply a small amount of Himalaya Purifying Neem Face and gently work up lather using a circular motion. Wash off and pat dry. Use twice daily.
Now, let’s talk about its ingredients :
As per the founder of Himalaya Herbals, the vision was to bring Ayurveda back into our life.
But is this true..? Do this claims done by Himalaya Herbals are actually right?
Do Himalaya Herbals is too making us fool by telling us that their products are 100 % influenced by Ayurveda, or their is something fishy about their claims.
I’m quite confused as because of the ingredient list given at the back side of the product.
Apart from adding 1-2 Ayurvedic Ingredients, most other ingredients are same as any other product in the market. This doesn’t seems like an ayurvedic product at all.
Here what Himalaya has been written at the back of this product :-
Each 1 g contains : Extracts : Nimba ( Azadirachta indica )# LF. 50 mg, Haridra ( Curcuma longa )# Rz. 5 mg. Ref : # Bhava Prakasha
( Here is to note : that Bhava Prakasha is an ancient priceless ayurveda granth )
So, coming to the point, Himalaya Herbals contains only 5% ingredients which can be called as herbal ingredients, rest 95% ingredients are Phenoxethanal and cosmetic colours only. These two type ingredients can penetrate into our skin and even cause blood cancer too.
Then how could you tell these kind of products a herbal product or an Ayurvedic Proprietary Medicine.
Now, let’s talk about my experience with this product.
Recently, due to the lockdown I wasn’t able to order my face wash. So I picked up this Himalaya Herbals Neem Face Wash ( thinking that its a herbal product ) from local market.
But, after using this face wash for 2 weeks I realised some small bumps with 2-3 pimples on my forehead and cheeks.
The skin was also feels like little rough to me. Usually, skin texture of my face actually doesn’t seems like smooth as before.
So, I used some of mine homemade D.I.Y Home packs. They instantly boost my face, but after 2 – 3 days my skin again became dry and rough.
However, finally I discontinued this face wash. And after 3 – 4 days, my skin actually started heeling itself, and off course with the help of my D.I.Y face packs, and Tea Tree Oil Cream D.I.Y Tea Tree Cream for Acne free Healthy Skin.
So in conclusion, What I want to say that, this Himalaya Purifying Neem Facewash doesn’t seems to be work for me.
And I’m little disappointed too after reading the ingredients list.
