Hi everyone, today I’m going to review Lakme Absolute-Skin Natural Mousse Foundation for you guys.
So, my skin is quite oily or I would say sometimes combination kind of skin. Usually, my T-Zone area gets oily very often.
So, I was looking for a oil control, smooth based foundation for me, which also stay for a long time. Previously, I have also used Lakme CC Cream. I will write a particular review on that too.
Right now, let’s talk about this only.
As far as I know there are so many kinds of foundation available in the market. For example like, Liquid, Cream, Gel, Air brush or mousse foundations. And each & every type is relate to a specific skin kind.
Therefore, in search of a foundation that suits my skin type I got this one.. Lakme Absolute-Skin Natural Mousse.
This mousse comes in a round plastic tub, which look actually like a ball, with a shiny lid on the top.
The packaging is really of unique kind as well as very attractive & classy at the same time.
But some people are saying that a tub kind of packaging is quite unhygienic, as we all have to dip our fingers to get the product. But I truly don’t get it, as its quite a common thing that if you going to do makeup, you will definitely clean your hands at first. So, how is this unhygienic to put a clean finger to get the product in hand?
This product comes in Six different shades to suit all skin complexions.
You will get 25 gm of this product for Rs.750.
Now, let’s talk about my experience with this mousse foundation.
I chose 03 Golden Medium for myself, which suites well on my complexion.
You just need to wash your face, moisturize it well, and apply little pea size amount of this foundation over your face and neck.
Now, I use my fingers to blend it on my skin, probably some people would like to use their beauty blender too, which is absolutely up to their choice. But for me, I like to apply this mousse foundation with my fingers tips only, as it helps to spread the mousse equally & evenly all over the skin and blends well. Making your skin look much smoother than anything else, without any patchiness.
The consistency is very fluffy & light weighted. That’s why you don’t have to struggle to spread even out this one.
Company Claims that :
This mousse to powder formula delivers a feather-light finish giving you breathable natural skin. While its weightless formulation hides pores, fine lines and uneven skin tone to leave skin peachy soft all through the day. It also have SPF 8.
Now, coming up to my experience, it spread & blends very easily & evenly, giving my skin a flawless finish. Although the company claims for 16 hours stay, it actually stays for maximum 5-6 hours. It’s a light to medium coverage foundation. Fragrance is also beautiful.
It also controls my T-Zone oily area, besides it gives a very natural & beautiful, subtle kind of glow to your skin.
Dry skin beauties would need to use a deep moisturizer before applying this mousse. For Deep Moisturizer you can use Biotique Bio Morning Nectar Moisturizer https://tossthelife.com/?p=3018 too.
It gives your skin a very natural finish, doesn’t look like make-up.
Let’s see some Pros. & Cons. of this Lakme mousse foundation :
