Firstly, I came through this primer when I was shopping cosmetics essentials for my marriage. I do needed something, so that my makeup look flawless and stays for long. And than I heard about face primers.
Basically, a primer is something which creates a flawless base for your face, to do makeup, and helps your makeup to stay for hours. It also create a barrier in between makeup and your skin, so that makeup doesn’t affect your skin much. After knowing this, I started searching for a good primer for myself. There are so many primers available in the market of different brands that I got confused.
Than suddenly I came through Revlon Photoready Perfecting Primer. That moment, I felt like ” OK…. Finally my search is over now “.
So, without wasting your time, let’s get started about the Review of Revlon Photoready Perfecting Primer.
The Revlon Photoready Primer comes in a glass bottle with a plastic lid on top. The primer comes out with the help of a Plastic Pump Dispenser.
Though I liked the way primer comes out, still the plastic cap isn’t tight enough. It always opens up itself.
You get 27 ml of this primer for Rs 1699.
Product self-life is 3 years, from the date of manufacturing.
Now, let’s talk about the inner product, the Primer.
The primer comes with a light pinkish tint of color. It has thick cream kind of consistency.
I start my make-up process by washing off my face, than tonning and moisturizing. After which I apply the primer all over my face, specially on my T-Zone area, where I get oily soon. Thereafter, I use my foundation, concealer etc.
This primer not only controls my T-Zone area to become oily, but also create a smooth base on my face to apply makeup. It also fills out the pores, making my skin flawless.
It also extends the staying power of my makeup.
Without priming, my makeup would last for bare minimum 4-5 hours, but with the use of this primer, it last up to 8-9 hours.
Now, let’s see some Pros. & Cons. of Revlon Photoready Perfecting Primer.
Pros.
- It’s paraben free.
- Controls oil very well.
- It extends makeup staying power for long period.
- Gives a smooth texture to your skin.
- Make you look like fresh.
- Spreads and blends easily.
- Fills your pores amazingly, so they become less visible.
Cons.
- Bit pricy, but absolutely worthy.
- The plastic cap could be a little better, as it’s bit loose.
So In Conclusion, I would say that its a perfect primer. Does its work very well.
